Little Red Riding Hood:
With this anthology, we hope to examine Little Red Riding Hood and how it comments on our society (as well as how it might have been told in different times or with different goals) from different perspectives in both fiction and poetry. Red can be told in a fairy tale style, or it can be a futuristic romance, hard science fiction, mystery, horror, urban fantasy, blank verse, or villanelle. Where you want to put it and how you want to tell it is entirely up to you. We ask only that the characters be recognizable (though not necessarily overt), and that the issues raised–of society, gender roles, sexuality, civilization, or any other you discover–are explored in your work.
