Laureate bemoans 'thankless' job:
Poet Laureate Andrew Motion has said that the job of writing verse for the Royal Family is "thankless" and gave him a case of writer's block.

It's good to hear a most established poet speak so sincerily, I am very sure that writing for the Royal Family is one of the most effective ways to get a writer's block!
And being sort of forced to write is the best way to stop writing altogether.
Some children have unfortunately experienced it at school!
